Cosmos

Earth a grain of sand
On the beach to the ocean,
That is the cosmos.

Ocean and Shore

Water in vain tries to take hold of sand.
The ocean foolishly tries to claim the land.
“Come back to me.” he says to her,
The ocean to the shore.
“A little while longer.”
She answers in reply.
“When our mother in her great blanket,
Warms above: the skies,
Then we shall be much closer,
Our love. You and I.”.

Ambitions of Man

I’ve seen the void and the void has seen me.
There is a tendency for reclaiming.
For a shadow: light, one can’t be blaming.
I, we all have become shadows, here see,
In the nothing we’re remaining to be.
Under a burning hot star, we’re slaving;
Futile mastery: elements taming.
Mankinds greed, a target too high for me.
The earth bows to no man; man to no one.
A forgotten creator looks down on
The ambitions of man under the sun.
And four fold to pay back what was stolen,
The debt in place, the back it’s borne upon,
Having been paid, He collects from no one.

Dancing with a Singularity (The Solar System and a Black Hole)

Dancing with a singularity,
The Sun shows off its rays.
With a sort of morbid clarity,
His last lights did play.
And calling to his closest love,
The Moon, he did express,
One last fairwell from above
With grief in all excess.

From beyond it came so silent,
From beyond it came so quick,
Invisible ’till Saturn passed by it
And it grew an accretion disk.
After Saturn it was Jupiter,
Mars was safely out of reach.
This beast would not come to her;
The Moons lover would host this leech.

Those remaining watched in horror
As the others were torn limb from limb.
The Earth, and Mars her brother;
Those surviving. The last of kin.
Then the final dance was qued,
The Sun and the singularity.
Such a violent death ensued.
Mercury and Venus, were engulfed certainly.

Afterwards the beast moved on,
Wearing the Sun as a mausoleum.
With the only evidence life had gone on,
In the disk,
That momentarily had been a coliseum.
