Edge of Twilight

Where the earth gives birth to the sky,
Where the sea separates from rock,
She waits for the sun to pass by,
On day the moon now knocks,
But nightitme will have to wait.
She lies on the edge of twilight.

Reflection(s)

While I only touch water
My reflection touches me.
At the same time
These eyes see only world
But through his,
What magic can unfurl?
I speak to my reflection, sad,
For I cannot hear his words
He feels the same as I, it’s true,
For he mouths the same words I do.

Lost in the Shallows

She seemed to forget something in the shallows
Her hands in cold water
Her feet wade through the waves
So long she spent there
Just off the beach in the autumn surf
And yet still
She could not grasp it
Her reflection
And
Her memory.

Question Everything.

Am I being shown?
I am being told to look
Here, there, not over there
Do not look everywhere
Out of the corner of my eye I see
Questions surrounding me.
Questions I would have not known before,
Had I kept my eyes straight
And not wanted to know more.
