Hurricane

Ravager of worlds
Storm. Beast. Unstoppable force.
A herald of end.

Lioness

Rest.
She sleeps.
Tired from the day, she’s still and cold.
Tired from the blood she’s carried.
Long life past, now she’s old.
Now far from demons she’s long buried.
No regrets, her own grown strong,
They’ll find a new grave to carry
Her to where she can rest from demons wake,
From the words of death she spake,
From what she carried for so long,
So her own to demons pacts
Would not be sold.
Or so I’m told.
She takes this secret to her grave.
The children know of what she gave,
But not of  sacrifices made.

Hidden Sun

Walking together
Though we find
No clear path
To our feet to bind
Grey skies and sun,
Wind snow and rain
We will be together
We both carry this pain
From time to time looking up
To overcast sky again
We know the sun is there
Not always seen
But there watching
Waiting to show
That under grey skies
There’s still one thing that glows.

Way For Winter

With not much left here
It moves on to brighter things
Makes way for winter.

Low Lights

Low lights speak your name.
The red and orange; no moonlight to dull them.
You wander nighttime streets through fog to see,
Or to not see. Why else by night?
A cradle of second sunrise,
If you make it you’ll be mine.
We shall see in time,
If these red lights stain your eyes.
